Course Description:
This course will provide an overview of tips for investigations from the Washington County Attorney’s Office and training on writing reports and testifying. The course will connect these topics to feedback from jurors and judges in cases that have gone to trial. Officers will learn how a thorough investigation and presentation of their investigation at trial affects the perceptions of jurors about the criminal justice system and affects the final outcome of a case.

Any Washington County Agency and/or MN State Patrol member who is involved in arrests, investigations and testifying.
